 Best friends Kilorbe and Tae are separated while scavenging in the desert wasteland outside of their home village, Indelion. Kilorbe senses a malicious force heading towards the village and she leaves Tae behind to pursue it. Upon arriving in the village, Kilorbe encounters a nameless soldier dawning a centuries old suit of armor, terrorizing civilians. Without a moment's notice, Kilorbe engages the soldier with the intent to kill. After an epic battle, Kilorbe emerges victorious and the villagers slowly come out of hiding. Tae finally reaches the village as many onlookers have gathered. Despite her apparent victory, Kilorbe feels danger still lingering in the air. Unbeknownst to the rest of the villagers, the simple life they had grown used to, had just come to an end.

The turn of the new millennium brought forth more than just a change of ideals. In 1991, a private technology company was founded with the sole purpose of bettering the life of every human within its reach. That company’s name was Olympus. Olympus specialized in advancing medical and transportation technology, but was vehemently opposed to using their knowledge and resources to create weapons of any kind. Olympus slowly became a world power in its own right as their technology became ingrained in the lives of everyday citizens all over the globe. After twenty-two years of serving as the C.E.O., Bellum Caled, the founder of Olympus, stepped down so that his son, Armin, could take his place. While Bellum remained visible to the public eye after his retirement, the majority of the world’s attention turned to his son. Armin’s every action would be judged by the people he served and he would do everything in his power to live up to their expectations. For a little over ten years, Armin astounded the world with not only his ability to lead, but his show of genuine care for people of every class and background. There wasn’t a single challenge too daunting for Olympus to accomplish once they had decided to act. In the summer of 2024, a small disturbance was detected by an Olympus S.E.A.L. (search, encounter, assess, and list) drone in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Armin and a specially selected expedition team of twenty people deployed to the last recorded location of the disturbance to discover an entirely new land mass. Upon making landfall on the ominous new island, Armin and his team are immediately faced with a startling sight. Dozens of humans encased in some form of chrysalis were scattered across the immediate area. Despite the shock of their discovery, Olympus went to work almost immediately recording their findings and collecting samples from across the island’s surface. Merely a half hour after their arrival, the team was forced to gather their materials in a hurry as the island suddenly began to sink into the ocean. Before the Olympus expedition team was forced to evacuate, however, they managed to load five of the chrysalides onto their vessel before making their retreat. In the process of securing said chrysalides, one team member slipped and fell overboard. While the rest of the crew worked to rescue him, he was faced with the sight of what appeared to be the silhouette of a girl with long hair floating underneath the water some distance away from him. As he gathered his bearings, he could see her reaching out to him as though she were asking for his help. Moved to action by the fear that another of his fellow team members had fallen overboard, he began to swim towards the figure only to be swept up by a net attached to the Olympus vessel. After being rescued, he notified the other team members and an effort was mounted to locate the supposed victim. After a thorough search, there seemed to be no sign of the girl and the incident was recorded for posterity. With all twenty members of the expedition team on board and secure, they returned to the mainland.
